Testimonials

"Nikki is a working professional, so she is used to communicating  with all kinds of musicians at the drop of a hat. She really prepped for our sessions and I absolutely enjoyed working with her."

Matt Flugger, The Black Currents

"Nikki is the best guitar teacher I've had.  I have improved so much with Nikki because her teaching technique is really great and she is very patient and encouraging.  I have made more progress, a lot faster than I have with any other teacher.  I am very thankful that I found Nikki and cannot recommend her enough!"

New School University's Letter of Recommendation

"I have known Nicole O'Neill for approximately six years. Our point of
contact was the Guitar Study Center of New School University in New York
City, where I served as Director.

As we had hoped and anticipated, her course was an immediate success with
each section fully enrolled during each of the four academic semesters in
which it was offered. More telling was Nikki's performance with regard to
two of our most important performance benchmarks, weekly student attendance
and repeat-rate, i.e., the number of students who, at semester's end, would
re-enroll for an additional course with her or other instructors. By each
metric, she was among the top 15% of a 35-member faculty.

From the start, Ms. O'Neill was systematic and well-organized in her lesson
plans, engaging and informative in her presentation, and, above all, very
successful at establishing a classroom atmosphere that was open, supportive,
and warmly energetic.

As an employee, she was punctual, well-prepared, and very responsible. Her
demeanor at all times was open, friendly, and engaging. In nearly a
year-and-a-half of employment she missed only two class sessions due to gigs
and in each instance gave private lessons to those students unable to attend
the scheduled make-ups.

In closing, I would offer to you my strong recommendation for hiring Nikki
O'Neill for any program in contemporary music education. She is
an effective communicator with established skills in classroom management,
and was a valued, dependable employee and well-liked colleague at the Guitar
Study Center."

" Nikki is a fantastic instructor! She was fun, and made me feel good about playing guitar. As an adult student, I lacked the confidence to play and she really help to boost my confidence and made me want to pick up my guitar and have fun. She customized my lessons as she got
to know me and while I was learning a song, I realized I was learning much more! I highly recommend her!"

"I've witnessed Nikki teaching a variety of students over the years, from young to not-so-young, from beginner to advanced, and from male to female. Nikki has a special talent when it comes to teaching music. Her enthusiasm is contagious, her approach is well-paced, and her material is crafted to the students interests.

Nikki is truly above and
beyond the average guitar teacher, and has taught people all over the world to play. Students leave each lesson excited, encouraged, gratified, inspired, and challenged all at the same time.
Nikki has a
lot to teach and anyone that takes lessons from her will learn a lot!"
